During the arrest, police recovered a pistol, cartridges, and a stolen bag containing jewelry worth around 2.5 lakhs rupees. The jewelry was stolen from two female passengers traveling on the Andhra Express and Golden Temple Express trains on February 14 and March 17, 2024, respectively. The suspect, who had 17 criminal cases against him, had been a nuisance to both the GRP and passengers for a while.
