The accident also led to the cancellation of numerous passenger trains between Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, and Rourkela, resulting in the refund of ticket fares and additional expenses for passenger services. The railway is currently focusing on restoring the track and resuming train operations, and the exact cost of repairs is yet to be determined. The accident resulted in damage to 18 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail, including the pantry car, and six wagons of the freight train, requiring extensive repairs. Approximately 300 meters of track, traction, signal, and point systems were destroyed between Rajkharsawan and Barabambo, necessitating the replacement of the track and the reconstruction of the signaling system. The railway has announced compensation for the families of the deceased and the injured, and approximately 1500 personnel are working to restore train operations.

Railway ab track ko theek karne aur train operations shuru karne pe focus kar raha hai, aur repair ka exact cost abhi tak pata nahi hai. Accident se Howrah-Mumbai Mail ke 18 coaches, pantry car bhi shamil, aur freight train ke 6 wagons ko bhi nuksan hua, jinke repair ke liye bohot zyada kharch karna padega. Rajkharsawan aur Barabambo ke beech 300 meter track, traction, signal aur point system kharab ho gaya, jisse track ko replace karna aur signalling system ko fir se banana padega. Railway ne deceased ke parivaar aur injured ko compensation dene ka announcement kiya hai, aur train operations shuru karne ke liye 1500 personnel mangalwar subah se kaam kar rahe hain.
