Nand Singh, provided information about the ongoing development work and station redevelopment within the division. The prime minister will lay the foundation stone for these stations, including 7 in the Asansol Division and 1500 rail overbridges and underpasses, via video conferencing from Deoghar station. The redevelopment of these stations is part of the larger 'Amrit Bharat Station' scheme launched on August 6, 2023, aiming to revamp 508 stations across 27 states. The Asansol Division has earmarked seven stations – Basukinath, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Panagarh, Shankarpur, and Vidyasagar – for redevelopment under the Amrit Station scheme. The project aims to transform these stations into economic hubs, facilitating the transportation of local produce to wider markets and providing modern amenities for passengers.

Prime minister Deoghar station se video conferencing ke zariye, Asansol Division ke 7 stations, 1500 rail overbridges aur underpasses, sabka shilaanayas karenge. Yeh stations ka punarvikas 'Amrit Bharat Station' scheme ka part hai, jo 6 August, 2023 ko 27 states mein 508 stations ke punarvikas ke liye launch kiya gaya tha. Asansol Division ne Amrit Station scheme ke tahat 7 stations – Basukinath, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Panagarh, Shankarpur, aur Vidyasagar – ko punarvikas ke liye chuna hai. Is project ka maksad in stations ko economic hubs mein badalna hai, local produce ko bade markets tak pahunchaana, aur passengers ke liye modern amenities provide karna.
