Coaches like 2nd Seating Chair Car, AC Chair car have been received too

Trains LHBfied by Eastern Railway from 1st January 2024 to 16 October 2024:-

1. 13149/50 Sealdah Alipurduar Kanchan Kanya exp

2. 13147/48 Sealdah Bamanhat Uttarbanga Exp

3. 13145/46 Kolkata Radhikapur Exp

4. 13403 Bhagalpur Ranchi Vananchal Exp

5. 12359/60 Kolkata Patna Garib Rath Exp

New Rakes:-
1. 13189/90 Balurghat- Sealdah Exp ( 2 Rakes)

Now as per confirmed news ER has sent proposal to RB for converting the following trains to LHB & most likely to be converted in between January & June 2025, the list is as follows:-

1. 22321/22 Howrah Siuri Hool Express

2. 13019/20 Howrah Kathgodam Bagh Express

3. 12347/48 Howrah Rampurhat Shahid SF express & it's RSA partners 13017/18 Howrah Azimganj Ganadevta exp, 13015/16 Howrah Jamalpur Kaviguru Exp respectively

4. 12311/12 Howrah Kalka Netaji Exp

5. 13465/66 Howrah Malda Town Intercity Express via Azimganj.

6. 13429/30 Malda Town Anand Vihar T weekly exp


Northeast Frontier Railway:-

No of coaches received:-
92 coaches from RCF
26 coaches from MCF
28 coaches from ICF.

NFR has not converted any train to LHB during time period of 1st Jan 2024 to 16 October 2024.

NFR is receiving new coaches from ICF for 15715/16 Kishanganj Ajmer Garib Nawaz Exp & it's RSA partner 15721/22 NJP Digha Paharia Exp respectively. There are also improvement work going out in KNE CDO so that KNE CDO becomes eligible to maintain LHB coaches. LHBfication of 15715/16 & 15721/22 is expected in mid 2025.

Most of the long distance trains of NFR are already LHB , so in coming years we might see frequency increase of NFR trains

The list will be updated accordingly if any train becomes LHB in ER/ NFR

The extension of Garib Nawaz upto NJP via Bagdogra was approved by Railway Board in 2013 but as per news the then MP of Kishanganj loksabha constituency had protested in the parliament & as a result the extension was cancelled . Earlier GN had PM at NJP CDO but when KNE pitlines were commissioned the PM was shifted to KNE

This is because MP of Bhagalpur, Munger have not written any letter to Railway Ministry in recent times for proposing Bhagalpur Delhi Amrit Bharat express only Nawada MP Vivek thakur is interested in that & only for Nawada area . As of news received Eastern Railway is not interested to maintain any Amrit Bharat Rake in any of its CDO like Howrah , Bhagalpur, Sealdah, Kolkata, Malda, Asansol etc. So matter is forwarded to other zones & SER for running Amrit Bharat train from Kolkata & other ER terminals & as a result Bhagalpur LTT proposed by CR , Bhagalpur UDN proposed by WR & SER proposed ABs from SHM/SRC to SMVB, TEN, TBM

talking about the future of Bhagalpur Delhi Amrit Bharat express atleast one MP either Lalan Singh of Munger or Ajay Mandal of Bhagalpur should write around 2-3 letters to Railway Ministry for running Bhagalpur Delhi Amrit Bharat express. Now if these MPs don't do anything then we all know the behaviour of ECR & as a result ECR may run Gaya Delhi Amrit Bharat via KG line only just to satisfy Nawada MP . So my advice to Bhagalpur/Jamalpur people is to make your MP active in this matter & therefore 2-4 letters should be written by BGP MP or MGR MP alongside staying active in Railway related matter for it otherwise Bhagalpur Delhi Amrit Bharat express Via KG line seems impossible
