After a very long time, onboard 22675 Cholan Superfast from Chennai Egmore to Thanjavur Junction today. Since it has become superfast, it's run has improved very much. Few days back it took exact 6 hrs for chennai - thanjavur given the number of halts it has in this 351 kms and no of crossings that are there post sirkazhi. Still, from Chennai to sirkazhi timings wise it has free run (no crossing stuffs). Which tempted me to take this train more than 11017 LTT - Karaikal express, in which I could have got confirmed ticket till Thiruvarur and could have changed for 16187 Teagarden Express to Thanjavur, instead of RAC ticket in which I am currently travelling. Wishing it's superfast legacy to continue and sprint like Usain Bolt. If time table changes a bit, it would be perfect both directions for Thanjavur as well.
