Renovation of martyr captain tushar mahajan (Udhampur) railway station is going on under amrit bharat station redevelopment scheme launched by PM Modi, this redevelopment will totally change the looks of station including new platform construction (4rth and 5th platform), redevelopment work of this station will take 7-8 months more, as the UDHAMPUR-SRINAGAR-BARAMULLA rail link project completes, Udhampur station will be declared as junction - Dr. Jitendra singh said this in his recent interview and also udhampur-srinagar-baramulla rail link project will be completed by September 2024 said by an engineer working inside tunnel-1/33 in his interview by DD news

Yes as Udhampur-doda-bhaderwah-kishtwar railway line and jammu - poonch railway line are also planned , government will also announce something
on these planned lines after USBRL completion maybe their construction can be started parallel to each other and also they will be parallel to bilaspur-manali-leh railway line
Currently ,the main focus is on Udhampur-srinagar-baramulla (USBRL)

Dear Admin Plz Update the Bhanupli - Bilaspur - Beri rail route in IRI Atlas..
In Atlas this new line is extended upto Leh region. Can anyone confirm if the track alignment is correct after Bilaspur to Leh.. Also it will take atleast 4-5 years to construct this track to Bilaspur and 15 to 20 years upto Leh so why are we marking this wrong alignment in Atlas. We should wait untill the final route is not confirmed. There was a news that the team of members from Turkey with Indian deligates changed the route alignment from Kullu to Manali at 34 different locations... So why are we displaying wrong information on our Atlas. Even I am eagerly waiting for the...
