Creation of new zone seems a difficult task to achieve given the cost cutting measures adopted by IR. Am personally in favour of 9 zone format but its the IR administration who has submitted to pressure to politicians working for their vote bank; which is forcing the public to think otherwise.

I do not want this. But its the rail administration that is pushing public to think so. State wise divisions is also practically not feasible for IR, but now a days trains are not provided with out political pressure. Politicians back only those trains that serve their vote bank and don't seem to bother about zonal boundary regions lying in other state and hence they suffer. Biggest sufferer for example is CIC/Singrauli.
Agreed that all states can not have their separate own zone. its economically not viable. In the provided list, KR not required, Goa would be under SWR only. Rest of the list will roughly serve the areas related to zonal Hq state jurisdiction.

may be allotted the task of running new lines under geographically terraneous regions like; J&K, North East, Leh, Himachal etc. Running train service under isolation for one small state won't suit its administration economically.

exactly. when infrastructure is expanding, new lines on increase how come new divisions and zones would be impossible. When NFR completes lines to Gangtok, Imphal, Kohima, Aizwal and When NR doing Leh ladakh lines . It is necessary to reorganise new places with good division and zone arrangement for proper management. Everything cannot be automized from switch present in capital. Same way south also adding railway lines so it is impossible to care just by 1 or 2 zones. Lot of new line works pending, lines like Madurai thoothukudi via aruppukkottai, East coast lines Karaikal Peralam, Mayilduthurai tharangambadi thirunallar, Arcot lines such as Tindivanam Nagari, Kallakurichi ulundurpettai, Kongu region expecting dharmapuri morappur, tirupathur krishnagiri hosur. Kerala region also developing guruvyur thirunnavaya to skip SRR, sabari line from kottayam to sabarimala. Karnataka and AP needs seperate post to explore. FINALLY STOPAGGE at matryr tushar mahajan (udhampur) & kathua provided to svdk reverse vande bharat by MINISTORY OF RAILWAY. but date is not confirm Circular issue on 4/01/24 itself may be zone and division adjusting the tt of train or they just want to ignore the circular 😂😂😂 imo the halt is given at experimental base and closely watched

Why the section between Saharanpur to Lucknow via Moradabad Bareilly Shahjahanpur Balmau is still having MPS of 100 kmph although the route is in plain region of Western Uttar Pradesh.

Even some single line routes are having MPS of 110 kmph .

couldn't able to understand why NR is not interested in upgrading this section to 130 as most of the trains are LHB fied even Rajdhani, AC SF type trains were running on this route. Any idea on this? Also in Google maps I see there are still many many railway crossings on this route(some even on State Highway) but still not converted as Subway or Bridge. Any idea on this?
Surely this section needed to be upgraded to 130 mps lekin kya hua abhi tak iss par koi kadam nahi uthaya.
Please give your opinions.

like Indian Govt. is forcing Indians to travel in VaBha Trains, which many Indians can't afford. People who can travel in VaBha trains are preferring flights to have shorter journey since Executive Class ticket of VaBha Trains are almost near to Flight ticket price.

This is not the right depiction of the facts ! Every airline in India is now privately owned and they will put there services on the routes where they can earn more profit. Flights to Srinagar , Leh have been increased for example to reap the profits.
