The issue with Mangaluru division is where to extend the 600-km line. For the past 30 years, there have been no new railway lines. The survey for the Guruvayoor to SRR-MAQ line has been done many times, but nothing happened. Same goes for the Angamaly Sabari line. Rather than depending on Mangalore and Nagercoil/CAPE, both divisions should focus on constructing new railway lines.
