I see many people quoting VSKPs example to justify their reversal requests. Vskp is a terminal station where the same loco is not used in reversal. A different loco is attached at the back of the train and that is always quicker. In case of MAO the same will be used, plus it will have to go ahead switch tracks come to other side and then get attached, all the while occupying two tracks.
