#offtopic Parli Vaijnath is an important Shiva temple , but its status as a Jyotirlinga is disputed, and often denied. The more accepted (as per ancient sanatani texts) one is Jharkhand's Deoghar located Baba Baijnath.
Adi Shankaracharya praised Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga in Dwadasa Jyotirlinga Strotham:
Vaidyanath...
more... Strotram
“Poorvothare prajwalika nidhane
sada vasantham girija sametham
surasuraradhitha padapadmam
srivaidyanatham thamaham namami”
Poorvottare means in North-East, Prajwalika Nidhane means at a funeral place (chithabhoomi), Sadhashiv is Lord Shiva and Girijasametam means with Girija i.e. Parvati.
The original 12 jyotirlingam strotam as per Shiva Puran also counts Deoghar not Parli Baijnath
Jharkhand, where Deoghar is located, India is indeed in the North eastern direction. Also ancient name of Deoghar was Chidabhoomi.
This indicates the more accepted or 'real' Baidyanath Jyotirling is at Deoghar
