** By repeating the same mistake with AC3E, IR has again lost great opportunity to bring AC train travel to common masses.
** IF AC3E fares are kept low enough to give just nominal profits at full occupancy, IR could have made Delhi-Mumbai, & Delhi-Kolkata routes, the future Dedicated Passenger Corridors, into predominantly 160kmph routes where long distance trains have only AC1,AC2,AC3,AC3 (really low cost) & short distance trains have EC, ACC, ACDD (really low cost) coaches.
** Above arrangement could have popularized ac train travel and set the tone for operation...
