Tiruvallikeni is one of the oldest localities in Chennai. It is also known as Triplicane locally. Alight here to visit the famous temple dedicated to Lord Parthasarathy who is regarded to be a form of Lord Krishna. The speciality of this temple is that Lord Krishna can be seen along with His brothers and son. He is seen with a moustache and does not sport any weapons except the conch.The temple is an ancient one and was built around 8th century by the Pallava rulers. The world's second longest beach, Marina beach and the Vivekananda House are also at a walkable distance of about few hundred metres from the station.
