* 180kmph trial and 180kmph regular commercial operation are different issues.
* Operational speed has to be kept lower than maximum trial speed in order to incorporate an inbuilt factor of safety in train operation.
* Although SNCF (French Rlys) have successfully conducted trials of AGV (Advanced version of TGV) at 575kmph many years ago, but max. commercial speed of these trains is 320 or 330 kmph only.
