On that day after the accident: INTERESTING READING
-------------------------------------------------- ---------
All this was not known to me until early August. I just captured the photos onboard BBS bound 18464 Prashanti express. Later figured out the whole story on 5th August when I met few of the admns and Rfs who told me about the accident. One RF posted JBP-YPR Express with WDG4 #12680, One RF told me about spotting JBP-YPR with an EMD another day instead of an ALCO. With the visual evidences I have & Stitching all...
more... these stories together I could visualize what actually happened and put the below lines.
---------------------------------------------
On that day 27th July 2014, JBP-YPR SF hit a JCB after GBD. The GTL Alco WDG3a Loco #13068 got damaged due to which the train was halted at DBU for quite a while.
Lot of travellers gathered near the loco to check it out.
Standing in the adjacent line, His neighbouring GY DLS's WDG4 12680 came to GTL's rescue to pull the rake to YPR.
The loco change process was about to start. (Pic 1)
Pic 2 & 3:
#TB of the JBP-YPR Express & Coach B2 respectively.
--------------------------------
Also the noticable point was that an EMPTY GR Coach without TB & another GY WDG4 twins#12773 & #12236 was attached to the toe end of the JBP-YPR rake. Not sure about the story of these two. (Pic 4)
