There is no direct daily train service from Rajgir to Mumbai yet, therefore a daily superfast express will have to be started from Rajgir via Gaya Prayagraj Chheoki Jabalpur Nainpur Gondia Nagpur Bhusaval. This train will become the most popular and preferred train between Rajgir and Mumbai for the passengers associated with Buddhist philosophy. Railway passengers are eagerly waiting for the start of this train. A pantry car must be installed in this train ЁЯШК

IR now is foolishly wasting money and resources in manufacturing "God knows what"....
Humsafars...Suvidha....Antyodaya....swarna shatabdis....Utkrisht rakes....Gatimaan....Vande bharat...Vande bharat sleeper....Vande metro...Tejas rajdhani...Tejas shatabdi...Uday...Amrit Bharat.....Double decker....and what not in coming future...

This kind of heterogenous working reminds me of my childhood days when i used to have a flickering mind....and never used to focus on one thing at a time.....

so much "Khichdi" nowadays ?

Why cant they keep it simple and clear.
Run:
Rajdhani with Tejas rakes.
Shatabdi and Gatimaan with Vande bharat rakes.
Duronto with Vande bharat sleeper rakes (AC and Non AC both)
Scrap Humsafar Tag & rename them Garib Rath.


More suggestions or criticisms are welcome.

The branding of trains in democratic setup like India is to differentiate and also highlight during the elections. This is the same for all the government's and railway ministers (some times) promoting their parties or image.

Indian railways could not able to merge all the similar category trains into a generic name.

As we discussed earlier, the type of trains like Duronto, Humsafar, Gareeb Rath, SK, Rajdhani, Tejas Rajdhani, Vande Bharat Sleeper, etc are one category - "AC Superfast" trains.

(2) we can take all long distance trains like Mail, Express, Antyodaya, Vivek, etc as "Express" Trains with commuting average speed of less than 60 kmph.

(3) Trains in SuperFast category can continue as "Super Fast" trains with minimum 60 kmph average speeds

(4) Shatabdhi, Vande Bharat, Gatiman, Etc are in "AC Intercity" trains.

(5) Jan shatabdhi, Intercity, Vande Metro, Double Decker, etc in the " Intercity " Trains category.

(6) All passenger trains, MEMU, DEMUs, etc can be combined into one category "Janata Express".

(7) All local trains will continue as "Suburban" trains.

These categories will reduce the confusion and also streamline ticket prices across the current nomenclature and avoid confusion amongst ticketing staff in issuing the tickets.

stations ahead of time. No halts at intermediate stations or on outer signals. You can feel the speed between 110-120 KMPH.

Cleaning: 5/5 for interior cleaning. The housekeeping team was frequently cleaning the coach every 1.5 hours, but Zero for the exterior surface. Every coach was completely covered in dust and gutka stains, including the windows.

Rush: The seats were occupied only by reserved passengers. No waitlisted passengers were present. In fact, no one was standing in the general coaches either.

I agree, 3 trains got halt at Khirkiya but not even Harda.
Agree, ideally Burhanpur & Khirkiya halt should be removed.

Same for Goa exp, many halts are given now. they should leave superfast trains atleast if revanue is not up to the mark.

Don't worry AC coaches will increase and SL will reduce with lhbfication. PC adding proposal is there with SER. Hope with lhbfication it will be given.
SL coaches are pending. Other coaches came for lhbfication of 18047. Also Amravati might get converted to Superfast exp as there is a planning for that also along with lhbfication.

1. Vasco-Cansaulim (personal observations at Cansaulim rail gate while returning from Colva via Arossim last December, double line was almost ready between Majorda Jn - Cansaulim. Has been commissioned this June).

2. Kalem - Castle Rock (Earthwork between Kalem to Kulem and Tinaighat - Castle Rock stretches were in progress as seen last December).

3. Bugganipalli Cement Nagar - Giddalur

This may sound very weird --

Ginigera Jn -- Raichur Jn NL if wholly constructed can reduce traffic between Guntakal Jn to Ginigera Jn by diverting HYB SC bound trains in the new line. Last December I had seen passenger trains operating between Ginigera to Karatgi. Now the line has been opened till Sindhanur.

LD-BAY section, I believe, is saturated with iron ore goods trains.
