Atleast Charminar/Sambar SF will be dedicated to chennai. Anyways KCG CGL/PDY is mostly being used by Tirupathi Travelers Rather chennai pax. this will create alternative for NCJ pax for TPTY also.

My suggestion would be 4 days a week from Madurai morning dep to KCG via Trichy Tanjavur, villupuram, Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Reniginta Kurnool to KCG reaching at 900. Return at 1600. Another 4 days a week from Nagercoil morning dep Madurai Trichy Vriddachalam Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Renigunta Raichur upto Lingampalli or Secunderabad morning arrival. Maintainance should be takenup by SR. The present weekly NGL KCG can be cancelled.

Has anyone heard the new announcements for Salem division. It is the exact same as what is used in most other divisions such as Madurai and parts of Trichy and Chennai divisions as well as stations in Andhra and Karnataka. It is no longer the unique voice we used to have. The new voice sounds so plain and dull, doesn't add to the rail experience at all. Does anyone know why they changed it, there was no need as all destinations were available in the previous recorded voice mostly.
