Guys since Namo Bharat Rapid Rail (Vande Metro) Concept has been started. Now apart from Ahmedabad Bhuj route. Ig it should also started on some other routes as well. I am mentioning the routes below, on which Vande Metro Should be started.
1. Pune - Mumbai CSMT/Panvel (replacement of Pune Panvel Passenger, as it is permanently cancelled after COVID).

TPJ division vide letter under reference has proposed for extension of Train No. 16729/30 Madurai - Punalur - Madurai express up to Villupuram and extensionof Train No. 06415/16 Mayiladuthurai Thanjavur Mayiladuthurai passenger to PGTNby merger with Train No.06818/19 Palakkad Town - Erode - Palakkad Town passenger. The proposed timings for extension and merger of the trains are given below.-

Not all trains should originate at big cities or capital/Metro cities but should cater to Tier 1 cities of that state. It's to cater to Trichy and Madurai to Nagercoil and TVM. I guess these are passenger trsin merger and convert to express.

Delta districts get connection to Palani. Good move.
But Madurai Punalur extension is confusing. Why can't it be TVC VM via Punalur, Virudhunagar, Trichy? Some SWR expert might have designed this extension (SWR is known for W U C N J shaped routes).
For Cape/ NCJ to VM route, make CAPE PDY as a daily express.

With this time-table, 16729/30 will work as a SF between VM and NJT as well as return. (Would be useful as there are no late night trains from Kanyakumari to Trichy)

extending KCG CGL till NCJ for 4 days/Daily will be better rather sending Charminar, as already KCG CGL/PDY is half ruined and now ruining charminar exp will be worthless. Atleast Charminar/Sambar SF will be dedicated to chennai. Anyways KCG CGL/PDY is mostly being used by Tirupathi Travelers Rather chennai pax. this will create alternative for NCJ pax for TPTY also.
17653/54- operated as a triweekly with single rake by making it operated in alternative days with 1 hr late departure from both the ends via-TPTY,KPD,TNM,VM,PDY.
17651/52- can be operated as dedicated daily...

My suggestion would be 4 days a week from Madurai morning dep to KCG via Trichy Tanjavur, villupuram, Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Reniginta Kurnool to KCG reaching at 900. Return at 1600. Another 4 days a week from Nagercoil morning dep Madurai Trichy Vriddachalam Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Renigunta Raichur upto Lingampalli or Secunderabad morning arrival. Maintainance should be takenup by SR. The present weekly NGL KCG can be cancelled.
