Puneri_Railfan^~ 9019 blog postsAccording to you do you think that 12649/50 should be extended till CDG , and 22685/86 should be permanently cancelled due to lack of services and punctuality etc., and in case of Pune passengers a new train to Chandigarh should be introduced and make route via Kalyan , Western Railway route here.

Or it can go via Miraj - Lonand - Baramati - Daund in future days here . And in case of Pune a New train from Pune/Kolhapur to Chandigarh should be made .

Once upon a time i am same thinker like you. First of all Running SF train is worth ? Lot of express trains in Indian railways converted to SF but nothing changed except Ticket price so such development is of no use. The Blog is concerned about rail connectivity so i will not speak on SF trains but in north karnataka Hubli is big city in view of State govt and also in view of Central govt so. Whatever train starts it will start or end at Hubli this is myth of govt and also lack of Maintenance facilities in other places like Ballari, Bijapur, Belgavi .And also no proper short route connectivity of rail between Belgavi and bijapur so running train between these places is waste as ppl travel by buses. Actually You Mixed Two Projects as one.
Hubli-Londa Doubling and RE is actually part of Hospet-Vasco Da Gama Doubling & RE and Which will be first one to Get Priority compared to other Sections of SWR because its the Profit Oriented Section due to Freight.
Next one will be Hotgi-Gadag Section which is in lime Light in Recent years especially due to Two NTPC Super Thermal Power Plants at Hotgi and Kudgi falling on the same section and also Backing of NTPC Fund for this section which makes it as most Priority...
