Mour Dhwaj - Many times I have wondered what is the significance of this name given to this train. I even tried to deduce it from the literal meaning Mour - Peacock and Dhwaj - Flag. But as you can see, we can't really know what is the meaning of this.
This Sunday, while visiting The temple of Mata Chintpurni Ji, I was reading the posters on the walls and read a familiar name, 'Mour Dhwaj'. The whole story was written there along with the pictures, unfortunately I couldn't click a photo but here is the story in brief -

So, after the war of Mahabharata was over, Lord Krishna told Arjuna that he has a devotee who is greater than him and he is King 'Mour Dhwaj'. Lord Krishna took the disguise of a Priest and reached to the king, and told him that his lion, who is a canibal, is hungry. The whole story can be read here -

Toh, Mahabharata ke yudh ke baad, Lord Krishna ne Arjuna ko bataya ki unke pass ek devotee hai jo unse bada hai aur woh hai King 'Mour Dhwaj'. Lord Krishna ne ek Pujari banke rup mein King ke paas jaake kaha ki unka sher, jo ek kannibal hai, bhukha hai. Pura story yahan padh sakte hain -
