SWR Initiates Electrification Surveys for New Lines

The South Western Railway (SWR) has initiated electrification surveys for new lines, including the Ranibennur-Dharwad, Dharwad-Belagavi, Belagavi-Kudachi, Kudachi-Bagalkot, Chikkamagaluru-Beluru, Wadi-Gadag, Gadag-Ginigera, Ginigera-Raichur, Raichur-Chitradurga, Chitradurga-Davangere, Davangere-Rayadurg, and Tumakuru sections. This electrification project will help in reducing travel time, improving efficiency, and making train services more environment-friendly.
