one of the three washing lines at Tatanagar is reserved for the Vande Bharat train, causing delays in the maintenance of other trains. This has led to delays of up to 5 hours for the Tatanagar-Itwari Express, affecting hundreds of passengers. The Tatanagar station's redevelopment plan includes adding three platforms to address the issue of limited lines and the need to park empty coaches at Chaibasa and Bahalda. Shifting local train operations to Adityapur will also reduce the burden on Tatanagar station.
