Maharashtra: Goods train derails near Palghar, rail services affected

On Tuesday evening, six wagons of a goods train derailed at Palghar yard in Maharashtra, causing disruptions to Mumbai-bound trains from Gujarat and local train services. Exp, 12936 Surat-Bandra Terminus Exp, 19426 Nandurbar – Borivali Exp, 19102 Surat-Virar Express, and 09180 Surat-Virar Exp. All down trains were cancelled on May 28, including those between Dahanu Road and Virar/Churchgate. Help desks were set up in Vapi (022 676 49545) and Surat (022 676 41204, 0261 2401797). Restoration work is underway.

09160 Valsad-Bandra Terminus Spl, 09186 Kanpur-Mumbai Central Exp, 09056 Udhna-Bandra Terminus Exp, 12936 Surat-Bandra Terminus Exp, 19426 Nandurbar – Borivali Exp, 19102 Surat-Virar Express, aur 09180 Surat-Virar Exp shamil hain. 28 May ko, Dahanu Road aur Virar/Churchgate ke beech chalne wali saari down trains cancel kar di gayi. Vapi (022 676 49545) aur Surat (022 676 41204, 0261 2401797) mein help desks setup ki gayi hain. Restoration ka kaam chal raha hai.
