One such family, belonging to Bidi laborer Janak Kansari, with 10 members, sleeps on platform number 2 of the station. Around 35 Bidi laborers reside in slums near the airstrip. Similarly, several laborer families and Sabar families live in slums near the Nagar Panchayat office. For the past week, wild elephants have been entering Ward number 10 at night, causing havoc. Janak Kansari, along with his family, has narrowly escaped elephant encounters multiple times and now spends nights at the station for safety, returning home in the morning. He stated that they choose to sleep at the station due to the threat posed by the elephants.

hain jo hathiyon ke darr se station par raat guzaarte hain. Bidi mazdoor Janak Kansari ka parivar, 10 logon ke saath, station ke platform number 2 pe raat guzaarta hai. Havai patti ke paas Bidi basti mein, lagbhag 35 Bidi mazdoor jhuggi jhopriyon mein rehte hain. Nagar Panchayat office ke paas bhi kaafi mazdoor parivar jhopriyon mein rehte hain. Nagar Panchayat office ke saamne bhi kaafi Sabar parivar jhopriyon mein rehte hain. Pichhle ek hafta se, jangli hathi raat mein Ward number 10 mein ghuss aate hain aur raat bhar updraav machaate hain. Janak Kansari apne parivar ke saath jhopri mein rehte hain. Raat mein kai baar unka parivar hathiyon se bal-bal bach chuka hai. Isliye Janak Kansari apne parivar ke saath raat mein station pe jaate hain. Raat bhar station pe rehne ke baad, subah apne ghar aate hain. Janak Kansari ne bataya ki hathiyon se suraksha ke madde-nazar woh apne parivar ke saath station pe raat guzaarte hain.
