Vande Bharat trains will be introduced in three categories across India: Vande Metro (under 100 km), Vande Chair Car (100-550 km), and Vande Sleeper (over 550 km). The Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train is slated to become operational by April 2029, and feasibility studies will be conducted for three more bullet train projects in North, South, and East India. The Railways also plan to modernize over 1,300 stations with private participation, expand metro networks in urban cities, and introduce more high-frequency trains like the Delhi-Meerut RAPID rail.

Rail Yatri Bima Yojana' naam ka insurance scheme bhi hai aur aage ke 5 saal mein modernization ke liye ₹10-12 lakh crore ka investment bhi hai. Vande Bharat trains ko India mein teen category mein launch kiya jaayega: Vande Metro (100 km se kam), Vande Chair Car (100-550 km), aur Vande Sleeper (550 km se zyada). Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train April 2029 tak operational ho jaayega, aur North, South, aur East India mein teen aur bullet train projects ke liye feasibility study ki jaayegi. Railways 1300 se zyada stations ko private participation ke saath modernize karne ka plan bhi bana rahe hain, urban cities mein metro networks ko expand kar rahe hain, aur Delhi-Meerut RAPID rail jaise high-frequency trains bhi introduce kar rahe hain.
