Roza from Lucknow, was given a signal to enter the fifth loop line. The wagons derailed near point number 202. The driver, Rohit Kumar, and his assistant, Pradeep Kumar, applied emergency brakes to stop the train. Following the derailment, the power cabin was notified and railway officials sprang into action. Train operations on the up line were halted, and caution signals were issued for trains on the down line. The Rajyarani Express heading towards Bareilly, the Punjab Mail at Kahelia, and the Kisan Express were among the six trains affected by the disruption.

Driver Rohit Kumar aur unka assistant Pradeep Kumar ne emergency brake lagake malgaadi ko rok diya. Do dibbe bepatri hone ke baad power cabin ko bataya gaya aur rail officers bahut busy ho gaye. Control ke order pe up line pe train chalaana band kar diya gaya aur down line pe trains ko saavdhaani se chalaane ke liye signal diye gaye. Bareilly ki taraf jaati Rajyarani Express, Kahelia pe Punjab Mail, Kisan Express sahit chhe trains ko rok diya gaya.
