On Saturday evening, a goods train carrying gravel from Chandrapura to Gomoh derailed while entering the down yard at Gomoh station. and oversaw the restoration of the track. The derailed goods train was carrying gravel from Chandrapura station on the CIC line and was headed towards Gomoh down yard. The incident occurred when the middle wagon of the goods train derailed while crossing the main line. Following the incident, railway staff arrived with an accident relief vehicle and cleared the tracks within an hour and a quarter. Due to the incident, several passenger trains were held up at various stations.

Railway Manager Kamal Kishore Sinha wahaan pahunche aur unki dekhrekh mein track thik kiya gaya. Derail hui malgaadi CIC line ke Chandrapura station se girti hui patthar leke Gomoh down yard jaa rahi thi. Jab ye main line ko cross kar rahi thi, tab malgaadi ka beech ka ek bogi pटरी se utar gaya. Is incident ke baad, accident relief vehicle aur staff wahaan pahunche aur unhone ek ghanta aur 15 minute mein track ko clear kiya. Is incident ki wajah se, kai station pe kai passenger trains ruk gayi.
