Indore connectivity is required for Raipur & Durg (only weekly Humsafar is only option) BSP has (daily connectivity along with weekly Humsafar)
Extending Amarkantak to Indore will not benefit Durg/Raipur due to longer route/journey time of Amarkantak.
* Durg-NGP-IND- is just 872 kms (15 hrs) where as Amarkantak (Durg-JBP-INDB) is 1109 kms (20 hrs)
* R-NGP-IND- is just 909 kms (16 hrs) where...
more... as Amarkantak (R-JBP-INDB) is 1072 kms (19 hrs)
Matter will be worse if extension is made via Ujjain whiich will further increase route length by about 45 kms (& 1 hr journey time). Moreover two rakes won't suffice if extension is made.

Also Nagpur need better connectivity to INDB (connection only on 4 days of week) , it would be better if a triweekly BSP(~17:00 dep)-R(~18:40 dep)-Durg(~19:15 dep)-NGP(~23:30dep)-BPL(~6:00 dep)-INDB(10:00 arr) is introduced.
INDB(~19:15dep)-BPL(~23:15 dep)-NGP(~6:00 dep)-Durg(~10:00 dep)-R-(~10:45 dep)-BSP(~12:30 arr)BSP
This arrangement shall ensure high patronage & best overnight connectivity between two clusters Indore/Dewas/Bhopal and Nagpur/Durg/Raipur/Bilaspur
* Even better option could be to merge the current the two NGP-INDB weekly trains with it and run a daily BSP-R-Durg-NGP-INDB train (with an adequate quota for NGP).
