See the current Railway minister is the only highly educated minister in ministry currently. He can negotiate with private players in SELLING INDIAN RAILWAYS better with International and Indian private players. So he is kept intact inspite on his being most inefficient railway minister in history of IR.
The services of IR ( delayed running of trains, frequent accidents, dirty toilets of trains, frequent cancellation of trains, poor services, etc) r made worst intentionally so that citing these reasons this government will oneday sell IR to private and tell public for better service these r given to private players. Private players just like airlines will charge huge money and government will have no control on ticket price s.

VB trains will be the 1st set according to me which will be given to private players to operate and maintain, just like the private participatation scheme if u remember was once tried to lauch in 2020 but at that time it didn't materialised but thought is there and the same scheme is being tried to materialise by these Vande Bharat trains in a different manner if you study carefully. VB full AC trains and separate maintenance worshops/sheds r being constructed slowly at different zones, priority given to VB over other trains, etc...just read the private participatation scheme in IR 2020 and match with current VB trains there is huge similarity between them.

Perhaps Dadri being the freight hub, it was easier to get a WAG-9 ready, given the fact that the train only halted near to an hour and half. Moreover Durontos have lost the priority they used to enjoy.

a time when many WAP-4s are collecting dust inside their home sheds, especially up north. A few could have been allotted back to their original sheds and stationed at major intermediate stations. It could save passengers from a lot of inconvenience and also their time.
