"I wrote a letter on the 2nd to get this train running and the government took a decision so quickly that on the 3rd, it was finalized that this train would run.

Their thinking and my thinking are both different. The difference is that they think that people from Bhagalpur, Dumka should go to Howrah and spend money there. If Bhagalpur, Anga Pradesh, Santhal Pargana does not develop, the main reason for this is that they think Howrah is a big city while I think Bhagalpur, Dumka, Godda is a big city. My thinking is that people of Howrah, people of Bengal should come here to worship at Basukinath, see Mandar Hill, see Vikramshila, go to Sultanganj and see it, after seeing it all day, they should catch the Jamalpur Howrah train from Kahalgaon Bhagalpur. People of Bengal should come to Bhagalpur, Dumka and spend money.

The people of Godda have made me an MP four times, just as you can never repay your parents' debt, I can never repay the debt of the people of Godda. Just as parents serve us, I am serving the people of Godda. Vande Bharat stops at Nonihat, Dumka, Mandar Hill, Barahat, which gives poor and backward areas a chance to board this train, Bardhaman does not stop this train but the backward areas have the full right to travel on this Vande Bharat."

On a sunny morning, I hopped on a train from Pune to Miraj, a chill ride that was gonna be pretty nice to look at. The diesel engine fired up, pulling a few passenger cars. As we rolled out of Pune Junction, the city noise faded, and it was all countryside vibes.

The engine’s chugging was kinda soothing as we cruised along, going through green fields and little towns here and there. The open windows let in a nice breeze, bringing that fresh morning smell.

We stopped at places like Satara and Sangli, letting folks get on and off. The vibe of a slow train ride meant I had loads of time to check out the changing views. Hills popped up in the distance, and sugarcane fields went on forever, showing off the area’s farming life.

Vendors strolled through selling chai, vada pav, and roasted peanuts. Everyone was chatting, making the train feel alive, while outside, everything was moving at a chill pace. The train crossed rivers and bridges, sometimes twisting through gentle hills as the land changed a bit.

As the sun lowered, painting the fields gold, we finally rolled into Miraj Junction. The diesel engine whistled one last time, marking the end of a super relaxing trip through the heart of Maharashtra’s countryside.
