Abhinav, the reason for the end-to-end WL show is that the entire section has a GNWL seat quota in 13071/72. If someone books Super from BWN to HWH, it will go to the JMP to HWH waiting list, but JMP to BWN will show available.
If you want to know where the booking is coming from, you have to check JMP to BGP. You will get an idea of how many seats are booked from BGP and how many from JMP.

For example, if Gaya Howrah Express has GNWL up to LKR and someone from NWD books HWH, then that person will not get a seat after NWD on the Gaya express. But if someone books from LKR onwards in RLWL or PQWL, they will get a seat from that quota and it won't affect those in GNWL.

There is more demand from JMP for HOWRAH bookings, I am not saying it does not happen, but Ahmad bhai is not provoking, he is just stating facts about JMP.
For example, if VB goes to waiting and the entire route is GNWL, even if it shows waiting from BHLE, MDLE, HSDA and NNHT, it does not mean that BHLE, MDLE or NNHT have filled all the seats. The seats may have been filled from DUMK, RPH or BHP. To find out where most bookings are coming from, you have to check the number of available seats from BHLE to RPH, which will tell you how much contribution is from BHLE and how much is from RPH.
Now, if I say that who will take VB for 38kms from BGP to BHLE, and it shows waiting even if the entire route is filled, then it's like hitting ourselves.

Don't take it otherwise. It's better for VB to go up to JMP, it will be a faster connection to HWH for SGG. But the right way to know about booking is as Ahmad bhai said and as I explained.
