the Shatabdi Express on this route will also achieve the same speed. The Vande Bharat's higher speed will reduce travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad by half an hour. Additionally, the Indian government is working on increasing the speed of freight trains, mail, superfast, and express trains by at least 25 kmph under the 'Mission Raftaar' initiative.

Vande Bharat, balki is route pe Shatabdi Express bhi 160 kmph ki speed se chalega. Vande Bharat ki zyada speed se Mumbai aur Ahmedabad ke beech travel time half an hour kam ho jayega. Iske alawa, Indian government 'Mission Raftaar' ke neeche freight trains, mail, superfast, aur express trains ki speed kam se kam 25 kmph tak badhane pe kaam kar rahi hai.
