Restoration of railway tracks done on different stretches in flood-affected districts

Train services between Tirunelveli and Kovilpatti, suspended since Monday due to flooding, are expected to resume on Wednesday. Floodwater has been pumped out and tracks certified for operation. Numerous train services between Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Tiruchendur, and Sengottai were cancelled due to flooding. However, Southern Railway has announced the resumption of some services, including short-terminations between Dindigul and Kovilpatti.
