This test run was conducted to evaluate the train's performance and ensure the smooth functioning of various systems, including signaling, track, and power supply. During the test run, the Automatic Train Protection (ATP) mode was activated to test these interfaces. Additionally, software location tests for signaling equipment were conducted to verify their accuracy. The test also involved running the train at various speeds to evaluate its performance. Upgraded software will be implemented based on the results of this test. Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) Managing Director Sushil Kumar congratulated all employees and residents for the progress made in the construction of Kanpur Metro. He highlighted the significant achievements and the teamwork involved in completing the installation of systems at the Nayaganj underground station. Finishing work at these stations will be completed soon. Currently, passenger services on the 9 km long priority corridor (IIT-Motijheel) are operational within the 24 km long Corridor-1 (IIT-Nauabasta). Construction of the Chunni Ganj-Nayaganj and Kanpur Central-Transport Nagar underground sections and the 5 km long Baradevi-Nauabasta elevated section is progressing rapidly.
