VB sleeper between CSMT and MAS with run time of 14 hours, CSMT and SBC with run time of 12 hours and CSMT and SC with run time of 9 hours is needed. Daily up /down trains will clear all the passenger requirements. Udyan express needs to get Faster and converted as SF express and intermediate stops to be curtailed a run time of 18 hours is practically feasible. The number of stops can be reduced to around 20 and make the express train into SuperFast and this will clearly cater to the long distance travellers. SWR can introduce new trains from SBC to Kalaburagi or Raichur to cater to passengers travelling to Kalyana Karnataka region. There is no more excuses for not speeding up this long distance trains including LTT - Coimbatore trains into real Super Fast category with average speeds of 65 kmph.

Agreed, but the point here mentioned in this article is that many people are preferring Udyan and 11013/4 for intermediate stations like Raichur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, etc. so reducing their 1 or 2 stoppages might draw a strong opposition from the daily travelling public.
Best introducing a new SF or SL VB with minimum stoppage and less slack for these 3 cities will definitely prove useful and now that UBL MRJ section is on verge of completion of electrification we have an alternative to Solapur route although slower in PUNE MRJ section but still a triweekly or daily for SBC/CBE via MRJ can be tried with aggressive TT.

Let's review Udyan's grade 4 stops - Dadar, Uruli, Daund, Akalkot Road, Dudhani, Ganagapur Road, Shahbad (as next 10km Wadi stop is there), Nalwar, Yadgir, Saidapur, Krishna, Penukonda, Gauraidanur, Yelahanka, Bangalore East - a total of 15 can be right away removed without much impact on the passengers. The SF Udyan can stop at all prominent stations in Kalyan Karnataka. This way it will give direct passengers between two cities a faster journey. One more SF express starting from afternoon from Mumbai and Bangalore can be operated, if required to cover alternate stations such as skip Wadi and stop at Shahbad, if at all SWR / CR proposes not to affect these smaller stations.
