First of all the basic conclusion or demand of this thread is to run the current running MAQ-MAO VB Upto Mumbai as there is little to no occupancy on weekdays as it is already dying a slow death, making it a liabality for SR if it had been a normal train the story would have been different but VBs entail higher maintenance and operational costs. And yes I saw your screenshots let them be Sleeper buses nobody wants to travel in a Non-sleeper bus if a journey is taking more than 20 hours, particularly considering the challenging terrains along the route making you feel dizzy sometimes. Whereas, if this VB is extended upto Mumbai at least Mangalore and Udupi will have direct access to Mumbai in 12 hours or so. be filled by Madgaon, Ratnagiri passengers or just as you mentioned it doesn't mean it will be used as end-to-end but also by the passengers in b/w and yes people won't have any problem seating for 12 hours(MAQ-CSMT) because it ain't a bus the comfort is there and the overall safety and convience for the passengers.And coming to "samaj le ki logo ki aavashaktaye kya hai", in Southern States the per capita income ensures that Affordability isn't the primary concern it is rather about the service that should be present to take advantage of. I just got intrigued because in my opinion you didn't get the proper context of this thread. The way you shared about Kerala express and AII-NDLS Shatabdi is because you have travelled in it so you have an idea how things go on ground. Similarly, we have the ground idea about KR Region what is going on and what should happen eventually beneficial for everyone. In conclusion, they can't run it empty or unless some magic happens and it runs housefull, it is not viable to extend it upto ERS nor to UBL only option is Mumbai.
